We are a Dutch family business that has grown into a unique chain through passionate innovation and a great sense of responsibility. We are constantly improving by means of close collaborations because, as chain coordinator, we want to meet the highest standards and stay at the forefront of the industry.

In the early 1960s, Jan van Drie senior bought his first calf from a dairy farmer. Jan's activities eventually evolved into the VanDrie Group. Today, we are responsible for an entire chain with 29 companies.

About VanDrie Group

We make beautiful products based on our passion, whether this is veal or beef, or whether it is dairy raw materials, calfskins or animal feed. We also trade in dairy products for industrial use and assist dairy farmers in rearing their calves. We are practical and down-to-earth and take responsibility for our impact on people, animals and the climate.

 

We have formulated five pillars on which we are building our revised strategy. These are: Our market position, sustainability, animal health and welfare, food safety and good employment practices.

All the companies within the VanDrie Group feel responsible for ensuring the products we supply are of the highest possible quality. This applies to the cattle husbandry, the calf milk producers and the meat producers. Working together to offer consumers that guarantee is thus a logical step.

We want our products and the choices we make to have a positive impact on the world around us. A sustainable destination for the entire calf, from top to toe: everything has value.
